How to Disable the EZ Pad Touchpad on a Gateway Laptop

If you attach a mouse to a laptop, you probably want to disable the laptop touchpad. Keeping the touchpad on while you have a mouse attached can get in the way of what you are doing. You can accidentally hit it while doing something on the laptop, move the pointer in a different place and have it completely ruin what you were doing. Disabling the touchpad, and with it the touchpad buttons, will make using a mouse with your Windows Gateway laptop much easier.
