How to Attach Patches to a Sleeve in the Army
As the United States Army replaces the classic green "Class A" uniform with the Army Service Uniform, shoulder patches are no longer attached to dress uniforms. They have been replaced by metal pins that go on the front of either the jacket or blouse. The only place you will find the need for shoulder patches on current U.S. Army uniforms is the Army Combat Uniform (ACU). Attaching these patches is an easy process that only takes a few moments.
