Ensure that your auction meets the requirements for ending early. If there aren't any bids on the auction, eBay lets you end it early. If there are one or more bids, when you end the auction early, the high bidder automatically wins the auction. For items with a reserve, you can't cancel the auction unless the reserve is met.

Fill out the form on the "End My Listing Early" page. eBay gives you two options if the auction has 12 hours or more left: end the auction and let the high bidder have the item or end the auction early without a winner. When you try to end the auction with less than 12 hours left, you must sell to the high bidder.

Check the confirmation email sent by eBay to the email account on file. The email includes details of the auction and the reason for the auction end. A similar email goes out to any bidders who bid on your auction before the end.

If you cancel bids on an auction, eBay won't let you cancel the auction. You'll have to contact the individual buyers and ask each one to retract their bids from the auction.
If you want to cancel an auction because you entered information incorrectly, change the listing instead of ending it. When you end an auction, eBay still charges you the full fee for the listing, and you won't have the chance to sell it. Changing the auction lets you fix the listing and still get bids.
