How to Conduct a Non-Profit Bingo Game
Charity bingo games may be a profitable way to raise money for a cause and to promote awareness of a nonprofit organization's mission. Two main ways to run a bingo event are charging attendees about $1 per card and asking for donations at the event. If you choose the former, consider offering big (donated) gift prizes to the winners. If you choose the latter, consider setting up donation baskets at all the exits and on the bingo playing tables.

Set up baskets at the entrances and exits of the bingo hall. Also, set up baskets along the playing tables. If you are using long rows of tables, make sure you place at least one basket at each table.

2
Charge $1 per card. This is a good way to make sure you get a set return on your bingo game. Offer a special $2 card containing wild-card stickers that can be used to complete a bingo row.

Offer donated prizes throughout the night, including a grand prize. It is wise to advertise the grand prize ahead of time and to give prospective attendees a teaser of the other gifts. Ask restaurants, movie theaters and local businesses to donate gift certificates. Your grand prize should be your best prize. An organization might want to ask one or two of its top donors if he or she would like to sponsor the grand prize---such as a car.
