How to Add New Fonts to MS Word
Microsoft Word, or MS Word, is one of the longest-running and most widely used word processing platforms around. While the program itself comes with a large variety of fonts to use in all sorts of different documents, certain users may find that the software doesn't have some of their favorite fonts or perhaps they want to add fonts that they find. Luckily, downloading new and different fonts proves incredibly easy for anyone to do.

Download a font from the Internet. New fonts are available at the Windows Office website or on unofficial websites, sometimes in packages of zip files. If so, unzip the package before moving on to import the new font.

Close any open Windows application.

Go to your computer's control panel and click on appearance and themes.

Click on fonts. Once there, click on install or remove fonts. While inside of the file menu, click on install new font.

Locate the font on your computer's directory.

Click on the font you want to add and press the OK button to add the font to MS Word and every other program in Microsoft Office.
