Instructions

  1. Making Tupperware Lid Storage from a Cereal Box

    • 1

Separate your lids into three piles as even as you can make them: large, medium and small.

    • 2

Turn an empty cereal box on its side so that it's lying horizontal.

    • 3

Start with the largest lid from the pile of "large" lids to use as a template. Place lid diagonally from corner to corner of the cereal box and trace width.

    • 4

Using the marker lines as a guide, leave an inch allowance on each "long" side of the trace and cut a hole with exacto knife. You should now have a rectangular hole in the cereal box.

    • 5

Follow the same process using the largest lids from the "medium" and "small" piles.

Tips & Warnings

  • Place lids upright. This handy storage container will store up to 15 lids easily. You can also decorate the cereal box with fun and colored contact paper before you cut.
