How to Use the Apple Care CD
AppleCare is an extended service and support plan from Apple. AppleCare helps users troubleshoot Apple hardware and software. Applecare provides additional protection in the event of a technical issue outside of Apple's standard one-year limited warranty, extending the warranty to three years from the date of purchase. Those who choose to purchase the additional AppleCare coverage receive an AppleCare CD. This CD contains a diagnostic utility called TechTool Deluxe that allows users to test a computer's critical system components.
