How to Convert a Windows Media Player to WAV Files

There are many reasons why you may want to convert Windows Media Player (WMA) files to WAV files. Windows Media Player doesn't come with the built-in capability to convert files to WAV format, but converting WMA files to WAV format is easy with the use of converter software, which can be downloaded for free on the web.

Instructions

1. Go to WinFF.org and download and install the free WinFF software.

2. Start the WinFF software.

3. Click the "Add" button and choose the WMA file(s) you want to convert.

4. In the "Convert to..." dropdown, choose "Wav for CD."

5. Specify the folder where you want your WAV files to be stored in the "Output Folder" field.

6. Click the "Convert" button.
