How to Download Pictures from Safari

When using the Safari application on your Mac computer to browse the web, you may come across a webpage with a photo or image that you want to keep for future use. Safari allows you to easily download pictures from websites and save them to your computer's hard drive. After downloading a picture from the web to your computer, you can open it in the "Preview" application to view or edit it.

      Launch the Safari application by clicking on the "Dock" icon.
