How to Convert a 2003 Microsoft Project to PDF


One very useful aspect of Microsoft Office programs is the ability to save documents and files to different formats. This allows document creators to share their work with other individuals who may not have the same applications that they do. Recently Microsoft has included the PDF format as one of the options for saving documents to. However, this support does not extend to Microsoft Project. Fortunately, it is possible to save a Microsoft Project to PDF through the use of a simple, free application called a PDF printer.

  • Download and install a PDF printer application.

  • Open a Microsoft Project file.

  • Click "File" at the top of the screen if you are using Microsoft Project 2003 or earlier. If you are using Project 2007, click the Windows button at the top-left of the screen.

  • Scroll to the "Print" option.

  • Select the PDF printer that you downloaded and installed in Step 1.

  • Specify your output file location, as well as any file size or display options that you wish to change.

  • Click the "Create PDF" or "Save" button, depending on which PDF printer application you are using.
