How to Write on Map Pins
Map pins are small push pins that have either flat or round heads. They are often used as indicators on a map, although they have a myriad of other uses. Map pins with flat heads often have a small window on the head of the pin wherein a piece of paper can be inserted. The head can also be written on directly.

Tips & Warnings
Map pins with round heads cannot be written on directly; however, a small piece of paper can be folded over the pin and glued to itself to create a flag. A flag can also be created by inserting the pin through the top and bottom of the left side of a small piece of paper. You can then write on this flag to label the pin.
