How to Do RSVP Cards for Wedding Announcements
When you send out an announcement of your wedding date, many couples find it very helpful to gather a rough estimate of guests for planning purposes. It is acceptable to include an RSVP with a wedding announcement or save-the-date card. Since this is a preliminary count and very few details have been decided, make your reply card simple; many couples choose a wedding announcement RSVP card as a postcard to save money on postage and to save paper.

2
Open the reply card template. Be sure that your template aligns with your chosen design. If there are borders or images on the card, make sure the wording is placed around any graphics.

You may also choose to add a line for the number declining if you desire a response from everyone who receives an announcement.

Tips & Warnings
For printing purposes, margins need to be at least 0.25" on all sides.
Begin with a rough idea in mind. Gather samples of your favorite RSVP cards to make the writing work less time consuming.
Specifically say, "number attending" so guests will write a number instead of an "X" on the blank.
Although there are common, standard sizes for invitations, wedding invitation trends have really expanded beyond the formal standards of the past. Don't be afraid to choose non-conventional styled invitations. Make sure the hosts who are inviting guests approve of the design.
If you have a theme, color, or flower for your wedding, consider incorporating this into the design of the invitations. Make sure to place the design in the template and write around any images, thermography, or embossing.
