How to Text With a Blackberry

The Blackberry is a handheld device that combines a phone and a personal data assistant (PDA). Users can send Short Message Service (SMS) text messages to other mobile phone numbers and email addresses. Text messages can be up to 160 characters. The messages can go to any other mobile phone user, not just users who use your service provider. Blackberry users will find the text messaging option under the "Messages" application. This is also where you read incoming text messages.
