John Nobrega is a working Canadian artist who exhibits his work at the Edward Day Gallery in Toronto. His surrealist-influenced paintings explore the notions of masculinity using animals and symbolism. He exhibited his Salon de Paris series in 2005.

Browse the paintings and choose one that interests you. For example, Nobrega's oil painting "Leviathan" was available as of January 2010. It is 60 inches by 60 inches. It arrived in 2008.

Tips & Warnings
If you live in or plan to visit the Toronto area, you can visit the Edward Day Gallery in person. The gallery is located in the Queen West Art District in Toronto, and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
It is always advisable to view artworks in person before buying, giving you a greater sense of the scope of the work, and how it might be displayed.
Never buy for an investment. If you enjoy the art of John Nobrega, it will bring you years of pleasure and become a family heirloom, regardless of its monetary value.
