Browser suggestions in Internet Explorer 8 involve the use of the AutoComplete Tool. The AutoComplete Tool is helpful for saving user names, passwords, forms and web addresses. Open your Internet Explorer 8 browser, click on the "Tools" button, and then select "Internet Options." The Internet Options dialog box opens.

Select the "Content" tab, and then click on the "Settings" button located under the "AutoComplete" section. The AutoComplete Settings dialog box opens.

Disable the AutoComplete Tool by unchecking the boxes for the different AutoComplete items such as "Address bar," "Browsing history," "Favorites" and "User names and passwords on forms," and then clicking the "Ok" button.
