How to Remove Pictures From Google Maps

If you find an embarrassing or privacy-violating picture of yourself while using the Street View feature of Google Maps, don't worry. Google Maps has provided a simple way for you to object to these photos. When requesting that Google Maps remove the offending photo, keep in mind that they do not have to comply with your request. Objecting to the photo only takes a few clicks to submit your request, and soon all you'll see in the image's place is a black expanse of nothing.
Drag the image on your screen so the offending image is on your screen. Locate the "Report a problem" link in the bottom left-hand corner of the image, next to the copyright notice (it's grayish white and small and may be hard to see). Make sure your pop-up blocker is turned off and click the link.
Select a category for why you are removing the image (you can choose from Privacy Concerns, Inappropriate Content or Other), and type out a reason as well as your email address.
Drag the part of the image you want removed into the black and red outlined box, making sure all of it fits.
Type in the verification words and click "Submit."
