Instructions

    • 1

Melt 2 cups of glycerin soap base on low heat in the double boiler. Stir the mixture to prevent scorching and burning. Move on when the soap base is entirely liquified.

    • 2

Stir in 1 tablespoon each of powdered chamomile and aloe vera with the contents of the chlorophyll capsule. Blend the mixture thoroughly using a spoon. You will know when you have completely blended the mixture because the soap will turn a light, natural green.

    • 3

Pour the liquid soap into the soap molds. Be careful; the liquid will be hot. Fill each mold to just below the brim.

    • 4

Let the soap set. As the liquid cools, it will gel and form glycerin soaps. This may take up to 24 hours before the soap is completely set, depending on local climate and temperature.

    • 5

Turn the soap out of the molds. When the molds are up-ended, the soap should easily slip out. Now you have homemade natural glycerin soap that will sooth and invigorate your skin.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can add decorative items to the soap since it will be clear, or additional herbs to promote healthy skin.

  • If you are planning to sell the glycerin soap, check regulations for what you can and cannot include in your soaps.

  • Test all homemade soaps on the inside of your wrist before using them on your body. Wash the area with the soap, then wait two hours. If no irritation occurs, you can use the soap however you wish.
