How to Find Seeds on Webkinz
Webkinz owners who access the virtual world associated with their pets can do more than just show off their latest accessories and tricks. Users can also participate in other activities such as gardening. Those who choose to garden will first need to find seeds, and there are several methods for obtaining seeds. Some are offered for sale while others are unique to one specific Webkinz pet. To obtain every variety of seed, users have to purchase new Webkinz toys in the real world while also spending virtual money on items in the digital world.

Select the "W Store" from the main navigation menu in the Webkinz online world. Choose "Gardening" from the menu in the shop to pull up a list of available seeds.

Choose from one of the seven available seed types. Your choices are seeds to grow cabbage, carrots, corn, pumpkin, strawberries, tomatoes, and watermelon.

Pay the KinzCash for the seeds and add them to your inventory. Pumpkin and watermelon seeds are 45 KinzCash each while the remaining five seed types are 50 KinzCash each.
Pet Specific Items

Purchase a Webkinz animal that features seeds as a specific item for the pet. As of January, 2010, there are two Webkinz with this feature: Webkinz Collie and Peppermint Puppy.

Log onto the Webkinz website and enter the code that came with your animal. Upon acceptance, you will receive seeds as part of your adoption gift.

Check which items each new pet rewards you with before purchasing. As more pets are released, the likelihood of additional seeds increases.
Pet of the Month

Own or adopt a pet while it is being listed as the "Pet of the Month," a promotion that began in October of 2007 and is still running as of January, 2010.

Check your messages during the month for a reward. One reward for having the honored pet are Donut Seeds, which are only available through this promotion.

Track the future Pet of the Month choices to plan which Webkinz you will adopt in the future for a chance at rare seeds.
