Decide where you want to place the pool steps and inset them into the pool. Be sure to choose an area that is level to avoid the stairs from moving, causing slips and falls.

    • 2

Fill four, two-liter soda bottles with sand. Secure each bottle to the steps by simply putting the bottles under the steps. On the inside of the steps, you will see a ledge. Place the bottles there, because here the bottles are out of sight to swimmers and less likely to be stepped on.

Replace the soda bottles once a month as the chemicals in the pool can soften and thin-out the plastic.
