1
Plan a kitchen to include lazy susans, corner systems and basic kitchen organizers. It is simpler to access a needed baking pan when there is an easy organization storage system in place. Obviously this only works if the kitchen is still in the early building stages and it is possible to include these items.

2
Include vertical mailslot-type openings within one deep wide shelf while building or remodeling the kitchen. Insert wooden boards vertically, with spaces of 4 to 6 inches in between each board. Insert the baking pans vertically between the boards so that they're resting on their sides instead of laying down horizontally. Each pan will insert into its own slot.

Use a baking pan like a drawer. Put other items into the baking pan (food, cups, paper goods) so that the pan will slide in and out and allow easy access to the items inside of it. This frees up even more shelf space for the rest of the baking pans. To save on time only use a baking pan as a drawer if it is not often used for baking.

4
Place a portable kitchen rack (plastic or wire fold-out) in a kitchen corner or along a kitchen wall. Stack the baking pans in the kitchen rack by size, with the largest pan on the bottom.

5
Think about the baking schedule. If there is a lot of baking in the household, store the pans in an easily accessible area. If the is not a lot of baking going on, place the baking pans wherever it is convenient so that the family can better access the utensils that they use most frequently.
-
6
Try to keep the baking pans in one centralized location, preferably near other baking utensils (such as measuring cups, cookie tins, etc.). If there is storage space under the oven, store the baking pans there.
