How to Check an NVIDIA Chipset Driver Version

NVIDIA chipsets and graphics processing units are found in many computers and mobile devices. To find out the NVIDIA chipset driver version in Windows operating systems, use the Device Manager utility. The NVIDIA drivers are listed under the Network Adapters Drivers section in Device Manager. To check the NVIDIA driver version, just a few steps are required.

  • Click the Windows “Start” button and select “Control Panel.”

  • Click the “System” option in the Control Panel interface.

  • Click the “Device Manager” link from the left navigation pane.

  • Expand the “Network Adapters” section if needed.

  • Right-click on the NVIDIA listing and select “Properties.” The NVIDIA Network Controller Properties window will appear.

  • Click the tab labeled “Driver.” Note the driver version listed.
