How to Recover Emails in Windows XP

Accidentally deleting an important email is incredibly frustrating. Being able to recover a deleted email can be a real lifesaver. Unfortunately, there is no mere click of a button to regain an email or information that you lose. However, there are software and programs that can recover your lost data for you.

Instructions

1. Decide which special tools suit you the best to recover your corrupted and deleted mails. Convert OST, Repair PST or Outlook Express Repair (if you are using Outlook Express) are good programs and can be found on http://www.emailrecovery.net/. Windows Mail Recovery is one of the best recovery programs

2. Download the package recovery tool called Windows Mail Recovery available at www.emailadept.com (see references). It is made specifically for email recovery.

3. Scroll down and click on "Download Now" at the bottom of the page. Select "Download File" and the program will save in .ZIP on your computer.

4. Open the .Zip file and click on "Read Me" for the program overview.

5. Locate and install the Windows Recovery program. Open Windows Mail Recovery. Follow the instructions for recovering your email (steps vary for various email programs).
