How to Uninstall Crystal XP

Crystal XP is free software used to change the style and color themes of your desktop in Windows XP. The themes can add color and style transparency to opened folders and windows. Uninstalling Crystal XP requires several procedures, including resetting the desktop theme back to default. Brickopacks is a set of Crystal XP themes and icons. Delete Brickopacks manually after the software removal.

  1. Uninstall Crystal XP

      From the "Start" menu, select "My Computer."

      Double-click "Local Disk (C:)," then "Windows," then "Packs."

      Double-click the "Crystal XP" folder to open it.

      Double-click the "Uninstall.exe" file icon. Confirm that you wish to uninstall Crystal XP.

      Restart your computer once the software has been uninstalled.

    Remove Crystal XP's Brickopacks Components

      From the "Start" menu, select "My Computer."

      Double-click "Local Disk (C:)," then "Windows."

      Locate the folder named "BrickoPacks."

      Double-click the file "BricoPackUninst.exe" and follow the uninstallation prompts.

      Go back to the "Windows" folder on "Local Disk (C:)."

      Right-click "BrickoPacks" and select "Delete."

      Confirm you wish to delete this folder and everything inside it.

    Set Desktop's Default Theme
