How to Fix Warped Laminate Flooring
Laminate flooring today is usually installed as a "floating" floor system. The tongue-and-groove boards aren't attached to the subfloor or the wall, but are just sitting locked together and pinned down by the floor trim. This makes for easy installation, but it also allows the boards to warp and move more easily if they're damaged by moisture. Replacing those warped boards is a fairly simple matter of pulling apart the floor until you get to the damaged area, replacing the warped boards, the re-assembling the floor. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Remove the floor trim on three sides of the room, leaving trim only on the wall that's furthest from the warped boards and running parallel to them. (So the trim should be removed from the parallel wall closest to the warped boards, and both walls that are perpendicular to the direction the floorboards). Remove the trim with your hammer and pry bar, taking care not to break or damage the trim.
-
2
Remove the first course of flooring along the parallel wall closest to the warped area. Loosen the boards by pushing them toward the wall (there will be a small gap there, exposed by the removal of the floor trim). Leave each loose board in its original position on the floor.

Proceed to remove the flooring course by course, pushing each plank toward the wall until it comes loose and leaving it in the same position on the floor. Work your way across the room until you get to the warped boards.
-
4
Remove the warped boards. Put replacement boards of the same style and size in their place.
-
5
Re-assemble the floor, putting all the boards back together in the same position they were in before. Re-install the floor trim.
