How to Convert PDF Drawings to Word

By Mitchell White

If you have a particular picture in the Portable Document Format (PDF), and you want to turn it into a Word document, there's a simple way to do this without using any other software. Microsoft Word has the option to insert other files inside of a document. Doing this will convert the PDF file into Word format, enabling you to utilize Word features to alter it.

Step 1

Click on "Insert" on the menu bar. A submenu appears.

Step 2

Select "File." A browse window comes up.

Step 3

Select "All Files" as the file type. Browse through until you find your PDF picture, and double-click on it. It should appear as an object inside of the Word document.
