How to Call International Phone Numbers on a Nokia Phone

Save

If you're dialing an international phone number on a Nokia cell phone (or any other mobile phone), it's important to remember that you must dial a plus sign ("+") with the keypad before entering the rest of the number.

  • Locate the phone button that contains the plus sign in the bottom left corner of the keypad.

  • Rapidly click the button twice to produce the plus symbol. Because the plus sign shares that button with the asterisk, you must click twice to make the plus sign appear.

  • Dial the international code for the country you are calling. For example, if you are calling the United Kingdom, you would dial 011, then 44. You can find the codes on websites such as CountryCallingCodes.com.

  • Dial the rest of the phone number and place the call as you normally would.
