How to Import KML to Google Maps
Google Earth allows you to view information laid on top of a map of a particular area, such as census information, marketing information and pictures. The type of file used to view this kind of information in Google Earth is called a KML file. If want to view a KML file on a computer that doesn't have Google Earth installed, Google Maps can also process and view KML files. All you need is an Internet connection.
