How to Remove a BlackBerry Language Icon

The BlackBerry is a smartphone, which is a communication and data device all-in-one compact format. It allows users to communicate via telephone, text message and email, as well as access the Internet and applications. The BlackBerry comes pre-installed with certain applications on it, and those applications have icons on the BlackBerry's home screen. If you want to remove a BlackBerry icon that you never use from your screen, such as the language icon, you can easily do so.

Instructions

1. Click on the BlackBerry language icon to select it.

2. Press the "Menu" button to load a list of functions.

3. Tap "Hide" to remove the language icon, at which time it will disappear from the screen.

Tips & Warnings

• To restore the language icon, repeat the process to deselect the "Hide" option.

• Removing the BlackBerry language icon does not remove the application from your BlackBerry.
