How to Graft a Face in Photoshop
Photoshop is the powerful Adobe program that's become almost synonymous worldwide with graphics retouching. Photoshop is used used for projects from ads and brochures to webpage design and animation. One of the most popular uses for Photoshop is to edit or retouch photos. For instance,you can place one person's face on another person's head using any version of Photoshop.

Load both the image you want to edit and the image that will be the source for the new face. You can transfer them from your digital camera, flash memory card, flash drive or CD, unless they are printed, in which case you will have to scan them in.

Open Photoshop. Select "File" from the menu and click "Open." In the dialog box that pops up, browse to the files you loaded. Hold down the "Ctrl" key, select both files and click "Open."

Go to the source image and select the "Brush" tool. Now click on the "Quick Mask" icon at the bottom of the toolbar. Now use the brush to paint over the face in the image. You can adjust the size of the brush as you work.

Click on the "Quick Mask" icon again. This will change the area around the section you "Select" painted into a selection. Select from the menu and click "Inverse."

Select "Edit" and click "Copy." Go to the other image and select "Edit" and then "Paste." Use the "Move" tool to place the face over the face you want to replace. Go to the "Scale" function under "Transform" and use the handles at the corners to resize the face.

Select "Edit," then "Transform" and click "Skew." Use the control points to change the angle of the face to match that of the face under it.

Select the "Eraser" tool and use it to erase any traces of hairline from the face.

Select "File" and click "Save As." Name the file and save it as a JPEG.
