How to Remove Moles & Ticks From a Body

Skin care can be a tricky endeavor, especially when faced with issues outside of your control, such as ticks and skin moles. Oftentimes you'll want to remove the ticks and moles that you find on your skin. Ticks are most active in spring and summer. If you discover that a tick has attached itself to you, it should be removed as soon as possible. Infections could occur if it is not removed within 24 to 72 hours. Moles are very common. The medical term for moles is "nevus or nevi." If you do not like the way a mole looks on your body, removal can be done through a number of easy, natural ways.

Instructions

  1. Removing Ticks

    • 1

Using tweezers, grasp the tick as close to your skin and to its embedded mouth parts as you possibly can. Do not twist or turn the tweezers when you attempt to pull it off. Use a straight, slow and steady motion.

    • 2

Try not to grab and squeeze the tick around its bloated belly. You might end up pushing infected fluid from the tick into your body.

    • 3

Be sure to clean and dress the wound the tick has left behind. Clean the area using soap and water or betadine and alcohol.

    • 4

Save the tick. Store it in a glass jar, zip-top bag or film container and label it. When you are making the label, be sure you include the date you pulled off the tick and the location where you acquired the tick. Later, you might need to have it tested or identified.

    Natural Mole Removal Methods

    • 5

Buy bloodroot salve. It is a small woodland herb that grows in the north central United States and Canada. Dr. Andrew Weil says that the red juice from the root is poisonous when taken internally, but when used externally has an ability to dissolve abnormal growth without disturbing normal tissue.

    • 6

Cover the moles with the bloodroot. Do this using your pinky or a cotton swab. Once they have been covered, apply a bandage over it.

    • 7

Check it every two days. Remove the bandages and apply fresh bloodroot. After that, apply new bandages. Repeat this process until the moles are gone.

    • 8

Apply flaxseed oil to the moles. You will need to mix it with honey. Apply it to the moles everyday for a few weeks until the moles are gone.

    • 9

Crush some garlic into a paste. Apply it to the moles. Do this everyday for a few weeks up to a month until the moles are gone.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always check with a medical expert to determine if a suspicious skin growth or mole is benign or malignant and requires further attention.

  • If natural methods of mole removal fail, a dermatologist can perform an outpatient surgery to remove the mole.
