Find the receipt number on the most recent letter you received from USCIS. The receipt number is typically located at the top of the letter. Enter the number in the "Enter your receipt number" field.

Click the green "Check status" button. This should prompt another page that contains the most recent action taken by USCIS concerning your immigration status. You can also check the average processing times for different USCIS immigration benefits from this page. Select the relevant USCIS form from the drop-down menu under the "Processing Times" section of the page.
