How to Completely Remove Adobe Photoshop CS3
Whether you are wanting to install a newer version of Photoshop or you simply want to get rid of old software you no longer use, know that uninstalling Photoshop CS3 is a quick and relatively simple process that only requires a few mouse clicks.

Click your "Start" button and select the "Control Panel" from the list of options.

Select the "Add or Remove Programs" option. In Vista, this will be known as "Uninstall a Program." This will open a new window that shows a list of all the programs currently installed on your PC.

Choose the "Adobe Photoshop CS3" option from the list of programs. You will see a "Remove" button appear in the same bar as the program name.

Click the "Remove" button. This will bring up a small window asking if you are sure you want to uninstall the program. Click "Yes" and the uninstall will commence.

Locate the Photoshop CS3 installer. This will most often be found in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers. Once found, double-click the icon.

Authenticate as an administrator. You can do this by selecting the "Authenticate as an Administrator" option from the menu that appears.

Select "Remove Components" once you have authenticated. This will bring up a new window asking you if you want to uninstall the product.

Select "Yes" from the window and follow the on-screen instructions for the installation to remove the program from your Mac.

Tips & Warnings
Dragging the Photoshop icon to your trash will not uninstall the program on a Mac. You have to use the above method.
