How to Convert a Telephone Audio to a Web Stream

Visit the Drop.io website by clicking on the link below.

Sign up for a new Drop.io account by typing your desired drop name into the large text field in the center of the screen. Your drop name must be original and at least seven characters long.

Click the "Create a Drop" button after reviewing the privacy policy and terms of use.

Type your desired password and valid e-mail address into the appropriate blank fields. Click "Save Settings." You are now ready to record audio into your new drop box.

Call the voice mail number located on the right side of the screen. When prompted, enter the appropriate extension. After you hear a short tone, your conversation has begun to record.

Using the three-way calling function on your phone, dial the person with whom you wish to converse. Patch the two phone calls together. Both sides of the conversation are now being recorded.

After your conversation, simply hang up. Your recorded conversation will momentarily appear in your Drop.io box automatically.

Click on the file to hear your conversation.

In order to post your conversation on your own website, click the "More" button. Then click "Embed."

Copy the entire code and paste it into the HTML code on your website. Your telephone audio has now been converted into a web stream!

Tips & Warnings
Need to record a conference call with more than two callers? Just have each party call the Conference Call number listed under your Voice Mail number. While Drop.io won't automatically record the conference call, you can easily do three-way call with your regular Voice Mail number and record the whole thing.
Be sure that the person with whom you are conversing knows that you are recording the conversation. It is against the law to record a telephone conversation without first gaining proper consent.
