How to Change the Car Icon in a Knight Rider GPS

In addition to its voice feature, the Knight Rider GPS also allows you to change the car icon displayed on the GPS to suit your preferences. Instructions

1. Press the on/off button to turn on your Knight Rider GPS.

2. Touch the "Change Preferences" icon when the Knight Rider GPS menu loads.

3. Press the "Change Car Icon" option to load a list of available car icons.

4. Touch the car icon you want to use to change the current car icon; a message will appear on the screen notifying you that the car icon has been changed.

Tips & Warnings

• Set the other customizable options--map display, measurement units, etc.--while in your preferences menu.

• Gently press on your Knight Rider's GPS touch screen to avoid damaging it by pressing on it too hard.
