How to Install Mobile Google Maps
Google Maps for Mobile is a free, easy-to-use and very handy mapping application offered by Google. The mapping application will run on most smartphones and PDA devices as versions of the software are available for all mobile operating systems. As with most Google product installations, installing Google Maps for Mobile is a simple process. With just a few easy steps, Google Maps for Mobile will be up and running on the chosen device.

Open an Internet browser on the mobile device and type the following URL without quotes into the address input box:
m.google.com/maps
An alternate method of getting the download onto the device is to open an Internet browser on a PC and navigate to the Google Maps for Mobile home page (see Resources). Click the "Send to Phone" button and enter the phone number for the device. The download link will be sent to the device.

Click the "Install Now" link on the Google Maps for Mobile page. The download dialog will appear on the device.

Click the "Download" button to download and install the application. Wait a minute for the download to complete.

Click "OK" at the installation prompt. The device will install Google Maps for Mobile.

Navigate to the downloaded and/or installed programs list.

Click the Google Maps icon to open the application.
