Put on the enclosed gloves. You should also cover the counter with an old towel to prevent potential staining. With gloves on, shake the Color Base bottle. Pour the entire contents of the Color Base into the Applicator bottle, and replace caps on each bottle.

Snap off the tip of the applicator bottle with your thumb and index finger (be sure bottle is pointing away from your face). Put your thumb on top of the Applicator bottle and shake to mix.

Squeeze the mixture onto your hair, gently massaging it in. After your finished applying the color, you should wait no more than five minutes before rinsing.

Use a timer, clock or watch to be certain of the time and to prevent your hair color from getting too dark.

Wash your hair thoroughly with shampoo after the five-minute wait ends.

Tips & Warnings
To avoid stains, smear moisturizer or petroleum jelly along your hairline. You may also want to wear an old shirt to cover you against stains.
Before coloring your hair, take Just For Men's recommended allergy test. This consists of mixing the Natural Color Developer and Color Base, then swabbing a small portion of the mixture on your arm. Wait 48 hours to make sure there is no reaction.
