Darken the eye area for a sinister pirate gaze. Disney Family recommends using a small makeup brush or a cotton swab to apply black eyeshadow, outlining the eye and darkening the eyebrows. Blend and smudge it to your desired shade and width.

Apply black, brown, dark green, or gray eyeshadow or face paint to add a dirty pirate look. A large makeup brush works great for this effect if you are using eye shadow. If you are using face paint, you can blend the colors into the skin with your fingers or a cotton ball.

Create some wrinkles and scars. Maholo recommends applying non-toxic white glue to your face in small patches to create wrinkles. Hold the skin tight, spread the glue, air dry or use a hairdryer, and release skin when the glue is done drying. Use face paint and a small paint brush to decorate any scars that you wan to add to this.

Add a beard or mustache. Use brown or black eyeliner or face paint to draw on facial hair. You can use a bristly brush or a wadded up paper towel to dab some stubble on if you desire that particular look. Mahalo suggests using spirit gum to attach a fake mustache or beard to your face.

Grab whatever other accessories that you think will go with the outfit. A gold hoop earring, bandana, hat, coat, boots, weapons, ruffled shirt, hook and telescope are just some of the suggested props to complete the pirate look.
