How to Make a Self-Adhesive Note Pad
Self-adhesive or sticky notes come in a variety of colors and sizes and let you leave messages for yourself and others. They can get costly if you use them often, however. You can make your own self-adhesive note pads, using your favorite paper and a repositionable glue stick. Repositionable glue sticks add a layer of glue that gets tacky but not sticky, allowing you to refasten the glued object repeatedly.

1
Choose your paper. You can make a self-adhesive note pad using paper with your own monogram, a photo or even your family seal.
-
2
Place the paper in stacks of 25. Cut sheets of paper to the size you want for your self-adhesive note pad.

3
Place one piece of paper on a surface in front of you and run a repositionable glue stick across the top of the paper, from one side to the other. The width of the repositionable glue stick, about ½-inch, should suffice.
-
4
Stick a second piece of paper directly over the first, and run the glue stick across the top of the second piece of paper. Continue the process of placing a new piece of paper over the previous one and running the repositionable glue stick over the top.
-
5
Place the final piece of paper (No. 25) over the stack of glued papers. This time do not run the glue stick over the final piece. You have completed your self-adhesive note pad.

Tips & Warnings
Make several sets of self-adhesive note pads.
Keep the repositionable glue stick capped when not in use so it doesn't dry out.
Do not use an ordinary glue stick, which will adhere to the paper and not allow you to separate the sheets.
