How to Determine a List of Investors in a Specific Company

Ownership in a company can be defined in many ways. The most common form of ownership is through stocks. Stocks, unlike bonds, represent a certain amount of ownership in a company that entitles the stockholder to participate in the future earnings of the company. The smallest investor is usually the individual investor and the largest investors are usually institutional investors purchasing stock for a mutual fund or retirement account.
