      Register for the Arizona adjuster examination. If you're not sure you can pass the exam, consider taking adjuster training classes to help you prepare. Review the exam content outline linked below to help gauge your readiness.

      Take and pass the adjuster examination. Take photo ID, and be sure to follow all instructions given by Prometric. In some locations, passing the exam allows you to submit your license application at the Prometric site.

      If you are an Arizona resident, or if you are a non-resident from a state that doesn't license adjusters, you have to submit a fingerprint card with your license application. You can do this at a Prometric center at the same time you take your exam, but you must register for it when you register for your exam.

      Submit your adjuster license application. You may do this immediately after passing the exam at a Prometric test site, or you can submit the application separately through NIPR, linked below.

Tips & Warnings

  • You must have a business address in Arizona for record-keeping purposes.

  • You must be over 18

  • You can retake the adjuster exam a maximum of four times per year.
