Office Live is a website host that is ran by Microsoft. They offer free hosting and a free website just like Google and Webs. Office live and Google offer ad-free websites to their customers. This means that they will not place their advertisements on your website like Webs does. If you choose a free website through webs.com and you want the ads removed, you need to upgrade your site.

2. Google site

   Create your free website account. Whichever hosting company you choose for your website, you need to follow the sign-up process using your personal information including your email address. Write down all of your information as you are signing up for your account. Many people are unable to login to their sites because of forgotten sign-up information.

3. 

   Take your time when choosing your website name. Write your site address (url) down and keep it somewhere safe. With a website that is free, you need to let the hosting company include their name in the website address or domain name. You can later purchase a "custom" domain name that doesn't include their site name.
