How to Unlock an Xbox's Content Watch
The Xbox 360 is a powerful gaming console developed by Microsoft with numerous features such as Xbox Live, high definition and content watch controls, also know as parental controls. A parent or guardian has the ability to create a password that will allow them to control the content played and viewed by children on an Xbox 360. These controls can range from game ratings to Xbox Live communication. Turning off this content watch is as simple as turning it on, requiring just a few steps.

Turn on your Xbox 360 and navigate to the dashboard. If the Xbox 360 automatically boots up to a game menu, press the guide button on your controller and press "Y" to enter the dashboard.

Navigate to the "My Xbox" blade using the left thumb stick.

Scroll to the last page on the right, system settings, using the left thumb stick and press "A" to open the system settings menu.

Scroll down once to "Family Settings" and press the "A" button to open the family settings menu. Press "A" again to open the console controls.

Enter the password you set when you created your content watch settings. The content watch menu will appear after you correctly enter the password.

Scroll down to "Turn off family settings" and press the "A" button. A confirmation box will appear.

Highlight "Yes, reset family settings" and press the "A" button.
