How to Translate English to Arabic Writing
Until recently, translating English writing into Arabic was often time-consuming, expensive, or both. A person with knowledge of the language still can use an English to Arabic dictionary, combined with his own knowledge of the language to painstakingly translate a text. Alternatively, professional translation services exist but they often demand a considerable fee. In the last few years, free online translation services have begun to emerge. Google, Bing, Babylon and several other sites offer easy-to-use translations at the click of a mouse.

Tips & Warnings
Some services, such as Google Translate, offer constant refinements and upgrades to their translations by offering users the option to "Suggest a Better Translation." These sites are often more adept at conveying the meaning of sayings, proverbs or colloquialisms.
Automated translation is a remarkably efficient means to translate the meaning of a simple text from English to Arabic. At this point, however, there is no substitute for human translation by a native speaker. For example, the English sentence, "He was visibly shaken," would be gibberish in Arabic because the verb to shake carries only a literal and not a metaphorical meaning. If the text you wish to translate is of legal, business, or other document of high importance, you should use a professional translation service.
