Robocut is a vacuum attachment hair cutter that literally cuts hair while vacuuming it away. The secret is that the rotary blades are powered by the vacuum suction, and, like all blades, they will eventually become dull and need to either be resharpened or replaced. Regardless of which one of those tasks must be done, you will need to remove the blades first.
Things You'll Need
- Flat blade eyeglass screwdriver (a stout finger nail will also work)
- Blades (at department stores, mail order or online)
Unplug the unit.
Insert the flat blade eyeglass screwdriver under the snap ring holding the blades, and gently pry the snap ring out.
Grasp the center shaft of the blades with your pliers, and pull them straight up and out.
Push on a new pair of blades, and press the snap ring back into place.
