How to Delete Browsing History From a Hard Drive
Browsing history, including the list of websites you visit and cookies, are saved on the hard drive by the Internet browser. This is done to aid faster reopening of the web pages on subsequent visits. These files are automatically replaced by newer versions when they become available. You can easily delete them from the hard drive.

Delete Browsing History for Internet Explorer

Click on "Start," then click on "Control Panel."

Double-click on the "Internet Options" icon in the control panel window.

Click on the "General" tab of the Internet Properties dialog box.

Click on the "Delete Cookies" button, then click on the "OK" button on the delete confirmation dialog box.

Click on the "Delete Files" button, click to select the "Delete all offline content" check box, then click "OK."

Click on the "Clear History" button, then click on the "Yes" button on the delete confirmation dialog box.

Click on "Apply," then click on "OK."

Click on the "Tools" menu on the Mozilla Firefox browser window, then click on "Options."

Click on the "Privacy" tab on the options dialog box, then click on "Clear all current history."

Click to select "Everything" from the Time range to clear the drop-down box.

Click to select all the check boxes below details, then click on the "Clear Now" button.

Click on the "Action" menu (Action menu is near the upper-right corner of the Chrome window, and looks like a gear), then click on the "Clear browsing data" option.

Click to select all the check boxes on the Clear Browsing Data dialog box.

Click to select "Everything" from the Clear data form this period drop-down box, then click on the "Clear Browsing Data" button.
Delete Browsing History for Safari
