How to Twirl in Photoshop
Making precise adjustments to photos and other digital images is possible with the use of Adobe Photoshop, the industry standard digital imaging application. Adding shadows, borders and making other minute edits to a composition can be accomplished when you work with Photoshop. By using the free transform tool, users can resize, twirl or tilt an image or a layer in just a few easy steps.

1
Launch Photoshop and open the document that you are going to be working with. Any document will do --- a photo, composition, or anything else with at least one layer will work.
-
2
Find the layer that you want to twirl and select it in the "Layers" panel. A layer is a single element of your document. In some cases, your document might be all one layer, such as a photo.

-
3
Click "Edit," "Free Transform", in the application bar. This will bring up a box around the layer.
-
4
Drag your cursor about a 1/2 inch outside the box, until the cursor turns into a curved arrow.
-
5
Click, and drag your cursor to the left or the right, to twirl the layer. As you twirl it, the image will rotate to the left, or right around the center of the image, which acts as the anchor point. The image might look slightly askew, or even sideways, as you twirl it. Click "Enter" when you are finished twirling.
