1
Undertake a feasibility study for your go-cart business. The feasibility study should determine whether or not it would be profitable to start go-cart business in your town. How many go-cart businesses already exist in your town? Is your town progressing or regressing economically? Are there are a lot of families with teenagers in your town? Schools? Areas in which to drive a go-cart? These are all questions that should be answered in your feasibility study.

2
Develop a business plan that meticulously defines the goals of your business and how you will accomplish these goals. Your business plan should describe your revenue flow (how much you will charge to rent your go-cart, accessories, etc.) and expenses (overhead costs, staff costs, etc.), as well as how large you want your business to grow.

4
Obtain a business license from your local city hall. You will need to pay a fee, buy a tax number and provide the city with the name of your new go-cart business before you can receive your business license.

5
Advertise your product. Let potential customers know about your business by purchasing advertisement spaces in billboards, newspaper ads, phone book pages, radio commercials and go-cart magazines.
