How to Create a Cigar Band

There are many occasions when cigars are given as gifts. For example, parents often hand them out to celebrate the birth of a child; they are given at weddings as favors, or they can be given to friends to commemorate a special occasion. If you are handing out cigars, or even if you simply have them for your own use, you may want to personalize the cigars. Cigar bands are one of the best ways to personalize a cigar, and can be made at home with just a few simple tools.

Things You'll Need

• Computer
• Printer
• Avery 5366 labels
• Cigar

Instructions

1. Open a Word document on your computer. The image that will be printed on your label should be 300 pixels by 39 pixels. You can select this size from the "labels and options" tab in Word.

2. Create the label of your choice. Common ones are "It's a boy!" or initials. If you want an image, look in the clip art section of Word or use one that you have uploaded from the Internet.

3. Print your image onto the Avery label and wrap the label around your cigar.
