How to Show a Detailed Weekly Schedule in PowerPoint

PowerPoint is a type of presentation software that is part of the Microsoft Office Suite. You can add many effects to your slideshow, including sounds, pictures and other objects. If you want to add a detailed weekly schedule to your PowerPoint presentation, the process is easy, but it may take a little time. There are currently no weekly schedule PowerPoint templates, but you can create one in Word, and then add it to your PowerPoint slide.

  • Microsoft Word

Save the Schedule Template

  • Open Microsoft Word. Before you can insert a detailed weekly schedule in PowerPoint, you need to download and save the template in Word.

  • Click on "Schedules" under "Microsoft Office Online" from the "Templates" menu, and select "Weekly Schedule."

  • Click on "I accept" for the template license agreement, and click on "Download." The template appears as a new document.

  • Save the template. Click on the "Office" button, and select "Save As." The file name is already entered (Weekly Schedule).

  • Select "Word Template" under "Save as Type." Click on "Save." You can now insert the schedule into PowerPoint.

Insert the Schedule Template into PowerPoint

  • Open PowerPoint, and click on "Insert" to add the weekly schedule template to your PowerPoint presentation.

  • Click on "Object" from the menu that opens under "Insert."

  • Select "Create from file," and click on "Browse" to find the template.

  • Browse through your documents, select "Weekly Schedule," and click on "OK." The schedule is now on your PowerPoint presentation slide. You can edit it by clicking on a cell and entering your schedule information.
