Instructions

    • 1

Wash your vehicle thoroughly, and ensure that you remove all dirt and debris from the surface. Dry the vehicle off completely.

    • 2

Park the vehicle in a shaded area. During hot sunny days, the wax will dry quickly and leave streaks. Park underneath a carport or in an area with good shade.

    • 3

Apply a small portion of wax to start with, using the applicator that comes with the wax. Rub in a circular motion until the wax starts to disappear.

    • 4

Repeat Step 3 until the car has been completely covered with wax--excluding such surfaces as the windshield and lights. There will be a slight wax residue after the application.

    • 5

Buff the remaining wax residue off of the vehicle--using a soft cloth in a circular motion-- until the paint holds a shine. The surface will feel slightly slippery as you buff. Be sure to buff around creases in the vehicle--such as around the hood and doors--thoroughly. Wax tends to build up on these areas.

Tips & Warnings

  • Meguiar's Gold Class Wax will last for a long period of time, normally a year, before another coat should be applied.

  • Meguiar's Gold Class Wax is also available in liquid form for easier application.

  • Avoid getting wax on windshields, vinyl or rubber surfaces. Certain wax can be difficult to remove.
